Armando Alberto de Jesus (Guzman) Rodriguez (born January 28, 1988 in San Cristobal Dominican Republic) is a minor league baseball starting pitcher currently on the New York Mets active roster.

Rodriguez began his professional career in 2007 with the DSL Mets, going 2-2 with a 3.46 ERA in 11 games (two starts), while striking out 29 batters in 26 innings. In 2008, again with the DSL Mets, Rodriguez went 4-4 with a 2.62 ERA in 15 games (13 starts), this time striking out 81 batters in 72 innings. He moved stateside in 2009, pitching with the Kingsport Mets and Savannah Sand Gnats and posting a 5-2 record with a 2.74 ERA in 12 starts. In 2010, Rodriguez went 8-9 with a 3.08 ERA in 27 starts for the Sand Gnats, striking out 152 batters in 146 innings.[1]
